The Leatherhead Club

Michael Lowe - PGA Professional

Michael is an AAT Golf Professional and has been a part of the club for over 30 years. His knowledge and experience are a massive asset to Leatherhead Club members. Approachable and enthusiastic, he’s dedicated to helping you to improve your game.

“I joined as a junior member back in 1992 and enjoyed a successful amateur career – winning the Surrey Amateur Strokeplay Championship in 2002 and then representing England in the U21 and Men’s teams. In 2005, I turned professional with a handicap of plus 4.

From 2006 to 2014, I competed in over 300 events around the world including European Tour, Challenge Tour and European satellite tour events. I still enjoy practising and regularly compete in regional and national PGA events.

I’ve worked with many of Europe’s leading golf instructors including Pete Cowen, Dennis Pugh, Jonathan Yarwood, Scott Cranfield and Phil Kenyon. They’ve helped me develop my teaching style and grow my knowledge, whilst learning advanced techniques.

My teaching style and approach varies according to the individual and students range from complete beginners to fellow PGA Professionals. I’m always happy to talk about golf, so if you have any questions about your game, just ask. I believe everyone can enjoy the game more through quality practice that leads to playing better golf.”
