The Leatherhead Golf Club is excited to announce the launch of its ‘Ladies New to Golf Programme’. This initiative is designed to inspire beginners and those returning to the sport to engage with golf and become both players and social members of The Leatherhead Club.

Golf is a wonderful sport suitable for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. It’s a game for life, offering the chance to enjoy the great outdoors in beautiful surroundings, whether you play a few holes or a full round.

What is the Ladies Academy?

The Ladies Academy will begin with a complimentary Taster Session with one of our ZSA Instructors, Huw Williams. Following this, you will be invited to join an 8-week group course to get you course-ready. After completion, join the ladies for a social mixer with Putting & Pimm’s, with the eligibility to sign up for a 3-month taster membership with us at The Leatherhead Club.

Free Taster Session

Join our free taster session with our ZSA Instructor, Huw Williams. During this hour-long session, our PGA Coach will introduce you to the basics of the golf swing, as well as the essentials of the short game, including chipping and putting.

All equipment will be provided.

8 Week Group Lessons

Following the taster session, we offer an 8-week course to get you course-ready. Balls and equipment are provided. The group lessons begin on Tuesday, 2nd July, and are an hour long each. You will enjoy a step-by-step guide to each of the aspect of the game you need to get out on the course playing and enjoying! Each group will consist of up to 6 ladies receiving subsidised coaching from our PGA Professional at just £220 per person for the 8-week course.

If you feel like you need a little bit of extra help with your game throughout the 8-week program, you'll be able to book in for individual sessions with Huw with a 20% discount of the usual rate!

All equipment will be provided.

Ladies Social Mixer

After completing the 8-week course, join us for a social mixer where you can play and socialise with our existing lady members at The Leatherhead Club.

3 Month Taster Membership

Upon completing the Ladies New to Golf Programme, you will be eligible for our 3-month taster membership at The Leatherhead Club. This membership allows you to build on the skills you’ve learned during the course and start playing regular rounds, providing an ideal way to meet other aspiring golfers.
